This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Flat Frog Games has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Flat Frog Games has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

2. Our Business

Flat Frog Games is an independent game development studio based in the United Kingdom. We focus on developing strategy and management simulation games to global audiences across PC and digital console platforms. As a digital-first organization, our core operations are driven by software engineering, digital art creation, and creative design.

3. Our Supply Chain

Due to the nature of our business in the software and video game industry, we consider our supply chains to be relatively low risk compared to manufacturing or retail sectors. Our supply chains primarily consist of:

• Software and technology providers
• Freelance digital artists, developers, and audio contractors
• Professional services (legal, accounting, and consulting)
• Office supplies and hardware vendors

4. Our Policies

We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

• Recruitment policy. We operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
• Code of Conduct. This code explains the manner in which we behave as an organisation and how we expect our employees and suppliers to act.

5. Due Diligence

We expect all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners to uphold the same high standards we do. Before entering into commercial agreements, we conduct appropriate diligence and ensure that our contracts require adherence to all applicable laws. We will not knowingly support or deal with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking.
